Meet Dr. Samaha
Dr. Jon was born in Newton, MA and was raised in Concord, NH. He graduated from Concord High School in 1972, and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire in 1976. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1980. He then went on to receive a Master of Medical Science degree from Harvard University and specialty degree in Prosthodontics from Harvard University School of Dental Medicine in 1984.
Dr. Jon’s father, the late Dr. Emile Samaha, founded the practice that Dr. Jon runs today, and Dr. Jon is very proud to continue the tradition started by his father.
Along with his extensive education, Dr. Jon was on the Clinical Faculty (1980-1994) at the Harvard University School of Dental Medicine in the Postdoctoral Prosthodontics Department. He has also lectured to the American College of Prosthodontists and at national dental meetings.
Being a Prosthodontist, his area of specialty is in crowns, fixed bridgework and removable partial and full dentures. He “custom colors” all porcelain work in the office with his own porcelain oven, to give restorations a very natural look. His post-doctoral training in this field makes him extremely qualified to handle everything from a single crown, to cosmetic veneers, to “full mouth reconstructions.”
Dr. Jon also does general restorative dentistry, and is very skilled and experienced in the placement of natural tooth colored fillings in both front and back teeth.
He is a member of the New England Prosthodontic Society (serving as its President for three years), American Dental Association, American College of Prosthodontists, New Hampshire Dental Society, Concord Dental Society and the International College of Implantology.
